I haven't shopped around but considering I think that GPU goes for almost half of that to begin with this is probably not a bad deal. I don't like buying Acer personally because I've had some bad laptops from them in the past, but in this economy who's going to argue?

I think it depends on if you think you are able to resolve issues yourself or deal with the nightmare of their support.

Yes, serious. Not as crazy as 2020, but gpu price has been stable for the last few years. Price is about 70% higher comparing to about 6 month ago
