But 5070 12gb cards, with 32gb ram has been lower at costco, or even prime day deals. A great deal for these specs I'd say is like 1400-1700. Also I believe now alienware is a HUGE downside, often times some of these pc's use odd OEM parts, or make it intentionally hard to upgrade or change components out.
I've seen 5070 12gb's with 32gb ram and 1tb ssd's at like 1400-1500 but they just sell out crazy fast. Which makes sense.

This Alienware Aurora is a solid mid to upper tier gaming desktop for the money, with the Core Ultra 7 265KF and RTX 5070 delivering strong performance and a parts value that is close to the asking price. The deal looks better if you want a ready built system and do not plan to swap components, since the CPU, motherboard, RAM, GPU, case, cooling, and storage would cost more to piece together separately. The main drawbacks are the 1TB SSD, only two RAM slots with up to 64GB support, and the usual Alienware upgrade headaches from proprietary parts. It is a practical pick if you want Dell backed hardware and can live with limited expandability.
