Sounds kind of weird saying I have a favorite charger but this one takes the cake in terms of size and portability. I can use it on my laptop or cell phone. have some other Anker ones I got from Costco that are much larger that I never use.

Why do they not just call this a 65w charger, versus "dynamic 45-65w"? Makes it sound worse than just buying a 65w charger.
If it's similar to their 100 watt Nano single port charger, it likely can't do the full amount for more than half an hour solid. They're designing them with the expectation that you'll only need the full power for that long anyways.

People left lots of complaints about that one that it throttled relatively soon and never got back up to 100 while in continuous use. I guess they've decided to market it as 45+ instead of 65* to avoid that.

Reading the reviews, sounds like early chargers had a bug. Do you guys thinks all the bad units are out of the sales channel by now?

Very odd that unless I'm missing it, nowhere on the listing does it actually state AVS support.

On the Anker Canada website, one of the burgandy images mentions AVS support, but they use a different image on Amazon.

Any 240w usb c to usb c cable. Check for usb 3.1 and you should be golden.
(seriously) Thank you for this! It's far easier to have a shorthand ("Is it USB 3.1 or above? Done"), rather than having to check wattage/brand/source/etc.

2.0 needs 4.5 Amp. This charger has 5 Amp which should support superfast 2.0

Kudos for having all colors available to color match the 18 pro, extra icing on the cake. Would in for one for sure if I had an 18 pro, alas still rocking the 12 pro max so

They copied Apple's 40-60W Dynamic charger.

Basically, they can charge up to 65w but only for a short period. For sustained usage they can only do 45w.

It's mostly a marketing gimmick but the brief 65w charging could be useful for something like the S26 Ultra that supports 60w charging. 60W on the Samsung only lasts for a short period when going from very low battery percentages, so this matches that behavior and gives you a bit more charge.

Realistically, it means you get a bit more juice without increasing the size of the charger much over the regular 45w nano.
