If the camera is eating cards you need to get the right card. Most SD cards are not setup for or work well with continuous writes which will destroy them quickly. SD cards only have a certain amount of data they write before the "chips" wear out.
You need to get an endurance style card, or one setup specifically for constat writes. It's not an issue of write speed, but write endurance.

these are the ones I use for my dash and security cames so far with no issues.
Also you are way overestimating the write speed of these cameras. on a 128Gb card 70MB/s is good for only roughly 30 minutes. before needing to write over old data. most of these things are writing WELL below that speed. many run at only 10-15MB/s and that's ot 4K. Sure extra bandwidth won't hurt, but by no means do you need to be able to write 70MB/s for the camera to record properly.
It's not the camera, it's the card. SD cards are only able to handle writing to each memory cell so many times before that memory cell gives up the ghost. for typical things like phone storage and stuff like that they work because most things get written once and then just sit there. reads don't hurt the card, writes do.
video cameras are different they do nothing but writes. over and over and over again which chews through that write life cycle each card gets. Only way really to fix it is to use a SD card that is rated for security/dash cam usage. Their memory cells are setup a little different so they are able to handle the constant write abuse a little better.
This is what I use, but there are others out there.
