Dang. I know this ain't the best money can buy, but, shoot, 70" for $300. I can remember, decades ago, almost buying a huge 32" cathode ray unit for, I believe, well north of $500. Repped.
https://youtu.be/YAaxqBvd1sY?si=f...Ym76_1cNY/ entire house is filled with these tvs. I had the same issue and came across this video the other day. I did this to all my tvs and they run super fast again!

Two years ago I got a 65" at Target for $200. The limit was 3 and I foolishly only bought 2.

I think these are awesome and a great deal for what they are...and for the price. I have the 75" version on my porch. Would I use it as my "primary family room" TV? No. Is it great and cheap as heck for a 2nd or 3rd big screen in the house? Absolutely. They're no OLEDs, but they're a great value and totally decent for very little money.

I have the 50" version of this TV so YMMV vary with the 70". In my experience the Fire TV OS is slow and clunky and Amazon's advertising above all gets tiresome after a while. That said, as a secondary TV it's a good deal. Fire TV handles OTA broadcasts well, with a guide and timeslip. Great for locally broadcasted football! š
Bought one of these Insignia TVs in the 55" size back in 2018 as a gift for an ex-gf for around $200 and from what I can remember, it worked well for the time I got to use it, but I would never buy one again.

Do you ever notice the lip sync getting out of alignment when watching OTA?

It was a clearance sale and only a few store had it. I wouldn't compare a ymmv deal to a discount deal.
