Hi, I just tested it and it worked. Some times you have to do it more than once with Amazon. Also, The first time I applied it, it failed and when I clicked back on the browser, it refreshed and it applied.

FYI, when applying coupon codes in the Amazon app, you need to tap on the arrow at the end of the coupon field to get it to apply. It's very easy to miss that.

be advised that many car's 12v cig outlet can't handle 400w and will blow a fuse.

Yikes, 40 amp input current? I don't know any cars that can handle that. That would require 8 gauge wire to the lighter. They are usually 10 or 15 amps.

I bought Jan 2026 for $26.00. Don't be fooled only a few bucks off. Good product, still working but definitely not the huge discount offered.

Edit to add we have not blew a fuse. 2009 Toyota Yaris.

Kind of pointless data unless we know what you plugged in to it. A laptop being plugged in and one cell phone charger is probably fine, a TV and a laptop, probably not. If you have a 15 AMP fuse for the 12v accessories in your car it would blow quick if you're at 25 AMP draw or ~300w.

Does this have a hardwired cigarette plug or can you swap to alligator clips?

It would be nice if there were a code for the pure sine wave version. I've been waiting on one.

It's a hard wired plug for this model, which is what you for this particular device.
If you're going the clip route, I'd get a bigger, true pure sine inverter to be able to charge solar batteries.

I have 2 of the older 300w pure sine wave inverters.
They are not pure sine, they are modified sine wave, even though they were advertised as a pure sine device.
They 140w charge my laptop, and my phone just fine, but my solar battery won't even turn on because of the dirty wave. And recharging the solar battery takes close to 30 hours via a 12v plug.
