On the other hand, if you're the one cooking the pie you don't have to load it up with sugar if you don't want to. The spices and natural sugars are where it's at anyway.

there are many recipes to lower sugar content or bake with splenda or other sugar replacements. You must be a lot of fun at the dessert table at the holidays! Big Grin

But can anyone tell me why we need to import pumpkin from China? (Label) Not as comfortable with this deal now.

Get Libby's. Libby's pumpkins are grown in Morton, Illinois and the surrounding fields in central Illinois.
