I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart Plus and Sam's Club Plus together, with the main appeal being a single linked membership that can unlock both services and trigger prorated refunds on existing Walmart Plus time. The comments point to useful perks like Sam's member pricing, 2 percent Sam's Cash, free curbside pickup, Walmart free shipping with no minimum, and same day delivery thresholds. Several account links completed smoothly, but the upgrade price varies widely, with charges and refunds ranging from a few dollars to the full $120, and some setups showing higher or unexpected renewal amounts. It looks most useful if the timing and account setup line up cleanly.
Common Questions (5)
The upgrade is prorated based on your current memberships and renewal dates, so some accounts show only a small add-on charge while others are quoted much more. Examples include $4.88, $15, $22, $35.91, $47, $48, $51.55, and $58 plus tax, depending on what you already have and when each membership renews.
Linking can issue a prorated Walmart+ refund, and the amount depends on how much time is left on the current term. Reported refunds range from $3.49 to $95, with some accounts getting $47, $80, or $15 back.
Yes, if you already have both memberships in the same account flow, the link can complete at no additional cost and the memberships stay connected until the Sam's Club Plus term ends. The process is done through the Walmart app or Sam's Club site by logging in and linking the other membership.
The bundle includes Sam's Club Plus member pricing, 2% Sam's Cash on eligible in-club and curbside purchases up to a $750 annual cap, free curbside pickup, Walmart+ free shipping with no minimum, and same-day delivery on eligible orders of $35 or more from Walmart and $50 or more from Sam's Club.
It may not work as intended for monthly Walmart+ plans tied to Amex Platinum credits, because the linking flow can still try to charge the full $120 annual bundle price. That means the promo may not convert a monthly reimbursed Walmart+ setup into the advertised lower add-on price.

I've been buying a W+ membership for $49/yr.

But with that said, I also hate how WM will still fulfill an order with a gig worker from the local store even when you choose "shipping" if the local store has the inventory.
Amazon - quick chat and you got your refund.
