I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus into one annual membership, and the main draw is getting both perks with a simple account link and, in many cases, a prorated refund on the unused Walmart+ portion. The linking process is often described as quick through the Walmart or Sam's app, with some accounts showing instant access and refunds ranging from a few dollars to much larger amounts. Pricing can be inconsistent, though, with some seeing the advertised add on price while others are quoted much higher charges or lose a separate renewal offer. It also appears to conflict with some existing discounts and billing setups, so the final cost depends heavily on account timing and eligibility.

I've been buying a W+ membership for $49/yr.

But with that said, I also hate how WM will still fulfill an order with a gig worker from the local store even when you choose "shipping" if the local store has the inventory.
Amazon - quick chat and you got your refund.
