I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.

This bundle ties Walmart Plus and Sam's Club Plus together, with Walmart Plus included at no extra cost for existing Sam's Plus members and an upgrade path for Walmart Plus members that can add Sam's for about $22 when the timing lines up. The combined plan brings free shipping, Sam's member pricing, curbside pickup, fuel discounts, and the choice of Peacock or Paramount Plus. Linking often triggers prorated refunds, but the exact charge can vary a lot by renewal timing and existing discounts. Account setup can be finicky, and some Amex monthly credits or senior discounts may not carry over.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, linking can generate a prorated Walmart+ refund, and the amount depends on how much of the term is left. Reported refunds include $4.06, $11.55, $13, $35.91, $47, $50, $70.08, $72, and $95.
Linking is done from either the Walmart app or the Sam's Club app/site through the membership prompt or invite option. Matching the email and phone number on both accounts can help, and some users had to log into the primary account or use the same email as the Sam's account to complete it.
The advertised add-on is as little as $22, but the actual charge is prorated based on your current Walmart+ term and any existing discount. Reported totals ranged from about $4.88 to $58 plus tax, with some discounted Walmart+ accounts seeing a much higher add-on than $22.
It may not work cleanly with the Amex monthly Walmart+ reimbursement, because linking can stop the statement credit from applying. The bundle is billed as an annual plan, so the monthly Amex credit setup does not carry over the same way.
Yes, but once linked the memberships can be tied together for renewal, so it is worth checking the renewal timing before you link. Some users kept them separate, while others noted they could unlink or avoid auto-renew to prevent being forced into a full-price renewal.

Club members: Upgrade to Sam's Club Plus for $60 more a year and get Walmart+ included.
I went round and round till I figured that out.
I had to go that route since my Sam's account is in my business name.
Yes there is.
Your Sam's and Walmart emails MUST match!

Add to that Amazon has "lost" two of my packages recently. WTF?? I had to contact Amazon to get a refund, and even though they've agreed to refund I have yet to see it.
Amazon also holds packages in order to see if they can combine orders if you happen to order anything a few days later.
Sam's Club Plus members now get free access to Walmart + benefits, and vice versa. This will cost $120 dollars either way (at full price). It appears that if you are currently a Walmart+ member paying the $10/month fee you will now have access to Sam's Club plus member benefits. You need to link the two accounts together for the joint benefits. See the link for details. I linked the two from inside my Sam's account, but I believe you can link it from starting at your Walmart account as well. I am just realizing that if you have free Walmart+ through American Express, that you can likely continue paying through Walmart and essentially get Sam's Club + for free.

Edit again: It looks like the AMEX issue has already been explored and due to the monthly nature of the AMEX fee reimbursements, this will not work for the combined membership. I was able to link my two account with different email addresses through the Sam's Club Plus membership portal. It sounds like linking with different email addresses may not work out the same way from the Walmart+ end.
