I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus together, giving access to both memberships and their core perks in one annual plan. The strongest upside is the prorated refund or credit that can appear when accounts are linked, and the setup can be quick through the Walmart or Sam's app once the account details match. Pricing is inconsistent, though, with some seeing the expected $22 add on and others being charged much more, plus Amex monthly credits and senior discounts may not combine. It is a convenient all in one option, but the final cost depends heavily on your current membership status and renewal timing.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Linking the accounts in the Walmart or Sam's app/site can immediately activate the combined benefits and may trigger a prorated Walmart+ refund. The process often requires matching account details such as email or phone number, and some users had to log into the primary account or use the Sam's app portal to complete it.
The extra charge is not always a flat $22. If you already have a discounted Walmart+ rate or a special renewal offer, the system may recalculate the bundle at a higher prorated amount and can even replace the lower renewal price with the full bundled renewal.
The bundle is an auto-renewing annual plan with a single $120 fee plus taxes. Existing Walmart+ members may see a prorated credit or an added charge based on how much time is left on the current term, so the amount can be far less or far more than the advertised "$22 more" depending on your current pricing and renewal date.
It can conflict with Amex-based Walmart+ credits. Linking may cancel the Walmart+ statement credit arrangement, and the monthly Amex reimbursement setup does not appear to combine cleanly with the annual bundled membership.
The bundle is tied to the linked accounts for the current term, and the renewal follows the combined plan unless you cancel before auto-renewal. Sam's Club also refunds memberships before renewal, so the practical way to separate them is to avoid renewing the linked bundle.

I went round and round till I figured that out.
I had to go that route since my Sam's account is in my business name.
Yes there is.
Your Sam's and Walmart emails MUST match!

Add to that Amazon has "lost" two of my packages recently. WTF?? I had to contact Amazon to get a refund, and even though they've agreed to refund I have yet to see it.
Amazon also holds packages in order to see if they can combine orders if you happen to order anything a few days later.
Sam's Club Plus members now get free access to Walmart + benefits, and vice versa. This will cost $120 dollars either way (at full price). It appears that if you are currently a Walmart+ member paying the $10/month fee you will now have access to Sam's Club plus member benefits. You need to link the two accounts together for the joint benefits. See the link for details. I linked the two from inside my Sam's account, but I believe you can link it from starting at your Walmart account as well. I am just realizing that if you have free Walmart+ through American Express, that you can likely continue paying through Walmart and essentially get Sam's Club + for free.

Edit again: It looks like the AMEX issue has already been explored and due to the monthly nature of the AMEX fee reimbursements, this will not work for the combined membership. I was able to link my two account with different email addresses through the Sam's Club Plus membership portal. It sounds like linking with different email addresses may not work out the same way from the Walmart+ end.
