I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus into one annual membership, with Walmart+ included for Sam's Plus members and Sam's perks added for existing Walmart+ members. The strongest upside is the prorated refund or credit that can appear when accounts are linked, and the setup often works through the Walmart or Sam's app with a simple login match. The main catch is that pricing is highly dependent on current renewal timing and existing discounts, so the checkout amount can range from a small charge to the full $120. It also appears to cancel some Amex statement credit setups and does not stack with the 50 plus senior discount, making it most useful when the math lines up.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The Walmart+ portion is prorated and refunded after linking, and Sam's Club can also refund a membership before renewal. The refund amount depends on how much time is left on the current term, so it can be small if renewal is near.
Sometimes yes, but the setup is most reliable when the Walmart and Sam's emails, phone numbers, or primary account login match. If the link fails, using the correct primary account or linking from the Sam's app/portal and then inviting the preferred Walmart account can fix it.
Existing Walmart+ members can add Sam's Club Plus, and existing Sam's Club Plus members can activate Walmart+ by linking the two accounts. The system prorates the remaining value of the membership you already paid for, so some people get a refund while others pay only a small difference depending on renewal timing.
No. The $22 figure is the add-on difference only in some cases, such as a full-price annual Walmart+ plan. Discounted Walmart+ plans, monthly plans, or accounts with different renewal timing can show higher charges like $47, $48, $51, or even the full $120.
It can. Linking may stop American Express Walmart+ statement credits from applying, and the monthly Amex reimbursement setup does not combine cleanly with the bundled annual plan.

I went round and round till I figured that out.
I had to go that route since my Sam's account is in my business name.
Yes there is.
Your Sam's and Walmart emails MUST match!

Add to that Amazon has "lost" two of my packages recently. WTF?? I had to contact Amazon to get a refund, and even though they've agreed to refund I have yet to see it.
Amazon also holds packages in order to see if they can combine orders if you happen to order anything a few days later.
Sam's Club Plus members now get free access to Walmart + benefits, and vice versa. This will cost $120 dollars either way (at full price). It appears that if you are currently a Walmart+ member paying the $10/month fee you will now have access to Sam's Club plus member benefits. You need to link the two accounts together for the joint benefits. See the link for details. I linked the two from inside my Sam's account, but I believe you can link it from starting at your Walmart account as well. I am just realizing that if you have free Walmart+ through American Express, that you can likely continue paying through Walmart and essentially get Sam's Club + for free.

Edit again: It looks like the AMEX issue has already been explored and due to the monthly nature of the AMEX fee reimbursements, this will not work for the combined membership. I was able to link my two account with different email addresses through the Sam's Club Plus membership portal. It sounds like linking with different email addresses may not work out the same way from the Walmart+ end.
