We're either missing something or this is no deal. This should be the Standard, not the Professional (Made in Japan). Even Yamaha has it on their site at $999.

The Standard is still made in Indonesia. Now, I have a PAC 612 also made in Indonesia and the quality control is superb. That's a great guitar for the money. I gig with that one regularly. This one would be great too. It has a lot of great upgrades and still a killer value at $999, but this pricing is way inflated. Some brands are now flirting with the $1,200+ import prices, but this isn't there yet, (especially not $1,637)

Also, it's chroma sensing. It's blue when you play it, and mint when you put it down (to prevent theft).
