Samsung's S85H OLED is drawing attention as a value play for dark or moderately lit rooms, with deep blacks and no haloing around bright highlights or subtitles. The 65 inch model has repeatedly shown up at $842 when the promo works, and the 48 inch version has been used successfully in a bedroom for a strong picture without needing high brightness. The main caveats are limited reflection handling and not enough brightness to fight daytime glare, plus some eligibility and checkout quirks that can change the price by state or account setup. It looks best where light control matters more than peak brightness.
