This is decent considering the current state of things. It'll be a good 1440p gaming machine and the 7800x3d should still be a very capable CPU for a good while if your focus is just gaming

32GB is minimum if you are spending 1K on a system. This is the new price, it is only going from here. Either inflation or supply will keep the price higher.

Only ~$200 more than the 2025 price. Not bad in the current market.

For anybody living near a MicroCenter interested in an comparably configured Intel Core Ultra rig: https://slickdeals.net/f/20175249-alienware-aurora-act1250-gaming-desktop-intel-core-ultra-7-265kf-geforce-rtx-5070-32gb-ram-1tb-ssd-1799-99-at-micro-center-in-store-only
AI Comparison:

If you're choosing between the Alienware Aurora ACT1250 ($1,800) and Skytech KING 95 ($1,860), the Skytech is the better buy for most gamers. It uses mostly standard off-the-shelf components, making future upgrades and repairs much easier, while the Alienware still relies on some proprietary hardware.

Both offer similar gaming performance with an RTX 5070, but the Skytech's superior airflow, standard ATX design, and long-term flexibility make it the clear winner for value and upgradability.

no, it is not anywhere near the 2025 price, you could actually do better if you build your own system back in late 2025 when the GPUs were all back to normal (i got my 5070TI for about 640 dollars, and 5070s were around 450 ish) and before the ram went crazy.

AI ruins lives. Just look at DIY people. I want to upgrade but I can't!
