I'm looking to shoot sports video. This is semi in the budget. Any pros have suggestions? I have a Nikon d7000 with lenses was thinking of sticking with Nikon and the FTZ adapter but not 100% on video quality

Your best bet would be to get a Z50ii on a Nikon refurb sale (every 3rd or 4th Tuesday). I have a z50 and thoroughly enjoy it, but my main body is a D850, so the z50 is a very definite backup. It it was my main body, I'd definitely go Z50ii (or, better, a z5ii or z6iii)

No wonder, z50 with kit lens was like $450 now its 720 at refurb. It must have been one of those Tuesday.

Major issue with this is the lack of IBIS and very few stabilized lenses available. And the lenses are too big for APSC and too expensive. I owned the Z50 and got rid of it for this reason. Better off with the Sony ZV-E10 or a6400/a6100.
Nikon offers this and Z5 full frame for holiday deals , "refurbished" for $400 or less. I've bought 5 cameras this way, and they all seem new , with low shutter counts, in wholesale packaging. super-slick and worth waiting for.

Awesome! thanks for the guidance.
