If you're near an Ollie's, some of them have this set for $50 and the deluxe Hobbit for $20. Mine also had the hardback Great Tales illustrated box set (not deluxe) for $15.

Any comments on how illustrated is this? Like alternate pages or once Every 50 pages or so?

The listing says over 50 full-page color paintings plus dozens of pencil drawings in the 1,332-page set, so more than one every 50 pages.
