Meh... you're better off getting one of the kits they have pretty often with 2x 5.0 HO batteries and a tool for ~$180-200. These 4.0s are pretty mediocre by comparison.

Yep for $150ish the other day you got a stubby impact and 2 5.0s. plenty of other examples.

Woot is not an authorized dealer of milwaukee tools. You get no warranty with these

Unlikely. Send a link to that deal. It was $189 plus 1 5.0 from Home Depot.

That is a HUGE difference in price. You could get 4x 4.0s for that price and have some pocket change left over. Maybe they are that much better but honestly depends on what tools you are using.

I'm sad so many people have thumbs this up - it's not a good deal when you can get a High Output XC5.0 batteries on sale for $50-$60 pretty regularly. Not only is the 5.0 a bigger battery, it also makes most of your M12 tools significantly more powerful.

Ever since I got my high output 5.0 I always make sure it's charged so I can use it with the m12 cutoff tool and m12 reciprocating saw because the power difference is extremely noticeable even for light duty work. I've been thinking about selling my other regular m12 batteries to get another one instead.

Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to buy 2 of the 4.0 batteries ever unless they are being given away for free with a tool you want.

The point is that buying this battery pack and a separate M12 Fuel tool-only is going to cost about as much as you can get a tool + 2x 5.0 HO instead.

Ah misread it came with tool as well. So probably could hack it down to $100 for 2 5.0 HO if sold at home depot.

You do realize that possibility that a person has all the tools they need, right?
