This actually looks pretty nice. Anyone attest to it?

I have the older generation from a clearance sale. I use them for a mobile kitchen setup which has worked great. They're decent quality. Not as heavy duty as more expensive brands but also not too flimsy or cheap feeling, and I've seen these newer ones in store and they seem like an upgrade. I think with all modular storage it's only a good deal if you benefit from the portability. If these are just staying at home, you're better off getting a US General cart on sale or something like that. Also, the pictures from the Lowe's listing are super misleading as this does NOT include a 3 drawer box.

Looks very similar to Dewalt TSTAK line. Priced similar too. If so, these are designed for home weekend warriors.

I have a bunch of these. The quality and size are similar to Packout, but they don't connect/release as easily, and far fewer variations and accessories. What they make are pretty good though and this is an excellent price.

Solid deal.

Anyone who's actually used these types of products is used to the bottom rolling box being a standard lidded tool box, but it makes much more sense for the bottom boxes in your stack to be drawers so you dont have to unstack them every single time you need to get in the bottom box.

This stack makes the most sense as a budget starter setup, in that regard.

I have a Ridgid 2.0 setup with a 1XL drawer as the bottom box, with a middle cooler, and a basket on top that I take camping. I like it a lot, but if you run the numbers it costs more than this. I only bought in to Ridgid so I could have a reasonably priced hard cooler.

I would buy this as a second stack, but I'm holding out for the newer Greenworks Pro Pack to hopefully hit a BF sale and come down to about this price. It's a $200 setup and I'm hoping it'll come down to about this price. At least this one looks like it'll still be on sale until then, so I can wait.

Either one is a solid buy, but I like the molle panels on the outside of the greenworks boxes.

I'm wondering if Lowes is trying to make room for a newer model coming in for the holidays

I want this for in my truck bed under my cover to hold work gear. I don't have a lot, but flopping the top and opening and reach over to dig get annoying. pull out for the win. I'm not a big kobalt fan, but I haven't bought anything from them I've regreted... yet...

These are the newer models. And they cost about 30% less than the old ones.
