FWIW, I bought this a few weeks ago for $1/lb and I cooked it and ate it and I didn't get sick or die. It also says USDA inspected.
I'd buy more but it was $1.99 plus 50% off ($1/lb) and now it's $2.99 with no further discount then add $2.99 for shipping so now we're almost $4 per lb. Still cheaper than club stores but not by much.
1. How did you get the 50% off from that $1.99 deal to make it even cheaper?
2. What's up with your fuzzy math there? $2.99 shipping on a $2.99 product doesn't make it $4 per lb…
