If you're unfamiliar, "Powerspec" is the in-house desktop PC brand of Microcenter. I've purchased three Powerspec PCs over the years and had good luck with all of them (two for my kids and one for my Mom). In general, they use quality aftermarket components that are as good if not better than name brand manufacturers with none of the bloatware. They are also highly upgradeable, since they're built with modular components, and the PSU is very good quality.

I've built my own PCs for decades, but will likely consider a Powerspec for my primary PC in the future given the trouble I've had with building with newer components, lately.

Micro Center does paid shipping on some items. This doesn't have that. The free store pickup mentions that you can order and have it reserved for you ready to pickup at your location Smilie Just trying to be helpful.

edit: why the heck downvotes lmao

I've had my eye on this one for a while. The lowest I've seen it was $1,900 back in June. I wish it had an NVIDIA GPU, but I finally pulled the trigger!

Is it good deal? I see some similar items around $2150 on best buy.

Great deal if you live near a Microcenter. The next best deal is from Costplusgaming which has the same specs but with 1TB and an air cooler for $2000.

I gotta say, just swapping to a new motherboard was a huge PITA. I totally get buying prebuilt these days. The AMD mobos are finicky

I still wished I had gotten the G760 back in April for $1800. Different and larger case and an extra fan in this deal. But the rest was the same in the April deal with free Crimson Desert.

I should bite this time.

I believe he's suggesting it's a bit funny to advertise pickup as "free" as though it might be "paid pickup" otherwise which is almost never the case except maybe very small orders. Guessing your downvotes are bc they believe you missed that angle to it.
