Before you even get to the pet hair you have to get to the software. And it's trash.

i got an anker L50 last week for 110 on ebay and ive been running it non stop. and although it has less suction(4000kpa) it doesn't get stuck and is really thoughtful and intuitive to use. it seems that these do it all robots seem to do nothing well; while the simpler single function robots tend to be more straight forward and independent.

Not a bad price but I'll wait for a better known brand.

I have three neato D bot vacuums that no longer work because of the cloud and the servers that were shut down. No longer buying any cloud-connected devices!

20% of reviews are 3-stars or less. 8% of reviews are 1-Star. Not worth a roll of the dice for me

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, does fine, you do need to touch up every so often with a regular vacuum, but I think that's pretty normal from my history of using these. I've had one since gen 1 roomba so you can imagine everything is always better each time I upgrade. better than all the sharks I have, on par with eufy stuff, but the dust bin is small, so you do have to get it going often enough that you don't overfill, so right now for me for about 1000 square feet (bottom floor) but real cleaning area of about 34 mXm (squared lol) daily and don't have a full dustbin of hair. The other issue is that you need to buy replacement bags. The design is like the old vaccum cleaners from the 1970's and 80's where you changed out the collection bag, it's not expensive but somewhat annoying. overall I give it probably 4/5, losing a half a point of the dust bin and the colelction mechanism that being said, all my sharks in the past never were better than 3.5 or so. And Eufy's score about the same.

I bought my dad one, and bought a second one for my second story (arriving tomorrow). Never use it for the mop.

For the pricepoint? I mean I know people are expecting 4+ stars on everything but remember this market with a collection system that is marque is going to be a roborock or something more brandnamish, you're going to be looking at twice this cost when it's on sale. So, I think it's slick personally. Now if it didn't have a collection bag, prob drop this by 20-30 dollars. That's the value I see in the collection systems that you don't need to manually remove yourself each cleaning cycle.

Now my prior shark died a couple months ago, when I got this and started using it, (and yes we didn't vaccum much but we have a stick vacuum we used in the interim), it took about 10 cleanings to "catch up" and mainly because the dustbin was so small. Otherwise, I run it once a day as mentioned above and it does fine with the 2 cats and 2 dogs. Has about half a bin of hair each clean cycle.

This is on a hardwood floor. I have carpet on the second floor and can post an update after I get that one caught up and running.

to give people perspective the bin is as big as 2 packs of playing cards ontop of each other. So yeah it's small. You have a small cereal spill, might want to clean it with a broom and dustpan. But it does grab the sand dirt dander and hair otherwise that normally accumlate daily. If you are looking to spot vacuum for larger spills, this is not for you.

If you're new to robot mops, be aware that the water tank on this is very small and the charging station is not a refill station. This robot will be limited to small areas for mopping before needing you to refill is tank.

I feel you, I lost 2. There is a project brainslug but we are moving so I am making the hard choices and disposing my projects (the brainslug project wasn't ready enough for me when I last looked over 6 months ago).

I shut down one of the corporate boot lickers when I said basically what you said and they said "shouldn't buy cheap Chinese crap" to wich I shut him down with "Neato was a premium brand, the first with lidar, smart path maping, and the first virtual no go lines." Neato, if you know, you know.

This vacuum is horrible. I bought it during a recent sale and it gets stuck on every single item in the apartment. It's not smart enough to use the lidar to avoid getting stuck, and it's not smart enough to back itself out of places. It keeps trying to go on its preferred course, and when it eventually realizes it's stuck, it just turns itself off. I've had to set no-go zones over half the apartment, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an automatic vacuum, and it still finds places to get stuck and die. Customer Support told me to upload video proof to a file sharing website and send them a link as proof, otherwise they wouldn't help me.
