Alan Wake 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. Nothing short of a masterpiece. An absolute steal at $18.

The Outlast Trials is really fun, especially with friends. Very graphic cinematics before each trial (definitely not suitable for kids), but the gameplay is very suspenseful. For $5 I'll buy it even though I don't even have my Xbox hooked up anymore. If I ever return to console I will want some games.

I wouldn't really say 1 and 2 are even like Trials. Outlast 1 was really fun. Outlast 2 was good but meh. Outlast Trials is a very fun multiplayer, and while similar in how mechanics work, it's definitely made more with multiplayer in mind. While you can do Trials on your own, it may be more fun with friends. I still ran it a fair bit on my own, but having friends helps with replayability. Once you've played all the trials 2 or 3 times, you're kinda looking for something new. But some trials can take an hour or longer, so there's plenty to do. For $5 this is really a significant value.

Note, if anyone is looking for the PC version, the Epic store has it for $14.99
(It's exclusive to Epic DRM for the PC, although you can get Epic keys elsewhere)

Not suitable for kids is a hell of an understatement. It's not suitable even for some adults.

So I checked some reviews....and the mention of jump scares seem to be consistent.

Yikes. I was going to get it to play with my 12 year old. She always wants me to play outcast 1 and she likes to watch so I thought it wouls be cool to play together.
