Does this actually save time, or is cleanup a pain?

If you're only chopping one or two vegetables probably not worth it, but more than that then yes. I sliced 6 packs of mushrooms in like 1 minute with a similar chopper.

The cutting grates will bend and you will get pieces of shaved off plastic in your vegetables when you try to use this on anything even remotely more solid than a mushroom or tomato. potatoes? Good luck. Carrot? No way. Buy it. You'll see.

Ive had this for a few years now and it does come in handy when chopping certain things that you would want really small. The grater/shredding function is okay. I mostly use the chopping feature when making ceviche or dishes that require a lot of finely cut things like cucumbers, onions, radishes, potatoes, etc... It works best when the thing you're chopping is firm. It does not work well on tomatoes and other squishy fruits/veggies lol.

I came here to say the same thing. I tried out two different companies essentially selling the same Chinese junk. Both broke the first time I tried using them. Fortunately Amazon was great about return/refund.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Have a very similar one from Walmart. Same color so I assume the same manufacturer. I used it to slice carrots and it worked for about 3 carrots and the cutter fell off the grid. It's literally just glued on. It's a waste of money IMO.

The random, scrambled letter company will disappear from the face of the earth right before your chopper breaks. Good luck though!

It is a very frequently returned item.
