Any body feels this brand of creatine has been pushed too much lately? Multiple major stores have big discounts on it. Nestle has a major stake on the brand. Orgain protein has been found to contain heavy metals including lead. I find it sus.
The Orgain Creatine Monohydrate Powder is not NSF Certified. According to customer Q&A, it appears to lack third-party testing for heavy metals or other contaminants. For me, I will pass. I use another brand that's NSFW certified.

What an ignorant comment. AI forms a conclusion after doing online research, just like humans do. They provide sources and you can fact-check them if you're skeptical. It's not like the average human is any better at doing research than AI.
That's not how AI works, and it's definitely not doing any kind of "research". For the google search ai overview, just take it as name implies, an overview of the search results. An overview that could have 100% incorrect results, or could have misinterpreted the search prompt.

However. Thats off-topic and I actually prefer when users point out they looked up using ai, so the rest of us can judge accordingly.

This 100%. I would never buy protein powder or Creatine that's not NSF Certified for Sport. Those are more expensive but at least you know every single lot/batch is tested for heavy metals and other contaminants.

It is Informed Choice certified which LGC Group periodically tests for contaminants but heavy metals aren't specifically mentioned.

Probably the worst Creatine I've ever tried. But some people seem to like it so I would say you will either love it or hate it.

I got headaches from their protein. I switched to whey afterwards. No issues since then. I read that plant based protein will usually have heavy metals because plants will absorb them from the soil, so it's not usually because the company has bad manufacturing standards. It's more that the soil naturally contains metals. Then the highly concentrated powders have concentrated levels of the metals.

I saw that lawsuit as well. It is against Costco and covers Orgain's plant-based protein powders, not the creatine. The plaintiffs did submit test results, but Costco's motion to dismiss argues the highest reading is under half the FDA's daily reference level for lead, and Orgain disputes the claims. Plant-based proteins in general tend to test higher for lead than whey, so it is not unique to Orgain.

It has nothing to do with the soil if the soil was not contaminated prior to sowing. The heavy metals come from the pesticides and herbicides they spray the crops with. Because manufacturers will source their basic ingredients from the cheapest supplier, most of the cheap ones come from unregulated countries such as Latin America where they use banned chemicals in the US and Europe due to high risk of health and environmental risks.
