Now that Uber & DD are back at Costco, these are normal prices in line with other gift cards. A deal on these now from costco would be like additional $5 off. I hope we can see something like that again in the near future.

It's been available at this price for a few weeks. It's gone as low as $75 before too. I don't do rides unless travelling so I use these mostly for restaurant pickups. If you combine it w/ restaurant deals like 2 for 1 it is an even better deal.

regular price and prices are usually 20% inflated on uber anyway using ai slop. but decide to over pay just use your own cc same shit i guess this minimizes the over payment.

Uber has always played games with their pricing. Two people with the same ride or same UberEats order can and will get wildly different pricing. Their phone app can track how much battery you have and charge you more for a ride if it's low (with the assumption that you're more desperate if you're almost out of battery, and will be willing to pay more for a ride.) There are tons of factors that they use to decide the pricing and fees that they show you. Their algorithm is designed to maximize profits.

Still cheaper. I took two Ubers tonight. $90 total. Buying $100 to cover everything then have an extra $10 in credit left over, for $80
