I believe last year they ran this deal with the regular 10.... Then closer to BF you could get the pro for the same price. I got the pro last year with mint.

Recovery fees and taxes can push this deal from good to average depending on your state

This Pixel 11 and 12 month Mint Unlimited bundle stands out for the low upfront price on a 256GB phone and service, with the 256GB tier looking especially strong versus the higher storage option. The main appeal is that the phone unlocks after 60 days of activation, and the bootloader can be unlocked once carrier unlock is complete. Taxes and recovery fees can raise the total, Mint uses the T Mobile network, and activation must happen within 45 days. The trade in offer is also far below Best Buy or Google, so the value depends on how much you want Mint service and the Pixel itself.

Common Questions (5)

  • The phone is locked to Mint for 60 days after activation. After that, it can be used on other carriers, and the unlock countdown starts when the eSIM is activated.

  • Yes, this promo has been available to existing customers as well as new ones. If you are trying to qualify as a new customer, the deal can require a fresh account setup and a 60-day lapse in service before Mint treats you as new.

  • Taxes and recovery fees can raise the final price above the advertised $579, and one purchase came out to $627 after taxes and fees. The exact total depends on your state.

    Obeezy_87VincentN

  • Yes. Once the phone is carrier-unlocked, the bootloader can reportedly be unlocked as well.

    chuq

  • The 256GB model is $399, while the 512GB model is $519. That makes the 256GB version the sharper value if you do not need the extra storage.

This is a good deal. The question everyone isn't asking is how long do you have to stay with Mint to have the phone unlocked? This is a no go if it is locked to Mint Mobile or you have to stay for an additional year to get it unlocked
Their help page says it's 60 days, unless I missed some fine print in their detailed policy,

How to unlock the phone? Can I use plan in my. IPhone and get pixel as kids phone?
Once you activate the eSIM on the Pixel, the unlock countdown begins. Then, you can transfer the eSIM to the iPhone.

I think Mint allows you to unlock after a few months.

This is a Troy Horse: you. buy the deal for the phone and then stick to the service because is very good for the money.
Seriously, don't do it!
(I have been using Mint from 2017,occasionally hopping out to profit of phone deals and quickly coming back as soon as I could)

Mine too. Around 58 days it seemed. This P10 I'm using was only $365 with tax and a year unlimited back in July. I don't feel like the p11 deal is better.

Same question, but mine expires on Dec 22.
Was hoping to port over around Dec 18, but don't think that will work with this?
