This Pixel 11 and 12 month Mint Unlimited bundle stands out for the low upfront price on a 256GB phone and service, with the 256GB tier looking especially strong versus the higher storage option. The main appeal is that the phone unlocks after 60 days of activation, and the bootloader can be unlocked once carrier unlock is complete. Taxes and recovery fees can raise the total, Mint uses the T Mobile network, and activation must happen within 45 days. The trade in offer is also far below Best Buy or Google, so the value depends on how much you want Mint service and the Pixel itself.

My wife was able to get this as an existing customer, her renewal is coming up there shouldn't be any problem with using her existing mint number with the new 12 mo plan right? Or will she have to port out then port in
All the new mint deals are for new numbers.
If you want to do this every year, port out to Google Voice. Then each year you just link the new number to GV.

I am using mint now so my plan is to port to a new carrier and come back again to mint as a new customer. Does this trick works to get this offer?

This is a good deal. The question everyone isn't asking is how long do you have to stay with Mint to have the phone unlocked? This is a no go if it is locked to Mint Mobile or you have to stay for an additional year to get it unlocked
That's not true because last year I got the mint in the same plan and my Samsung s25 unlocked in 4 months

Few questions:
1. Are phones from Mint treated the same as other MVNOs such as Tracfone even after being carrier unlocked? In other words,my Tracfone device got carrier unlocked after 60 days and I can use it on major carriers like T-Mobile or Google Fi but not on some MVNOs like Spectrum Mobile due to "whitelisting". Will Google Pixel devices from Mint also have similar issues working on Spectrum Mobile after the year of service?
2. My Motorola device from Tracfone also has bootloader unlocking disabled where even Motorola mentions that the device would not be eligible for their bootloader unlocking request since the device was purchased from Tracfone. Is that the same for these Google Pixel devices from Mint Mobile?

Would appreciate any input,
Thank you in advance,
-Topper

The real deal should have been the P10P for which they somehow still have stock, but they're asking $609 total for the 128GB model, while the 256GB P10PXL was $579 last year.

Can the bootloader be unlocked?

Wondering the same.

Some unconfirmed sources indicate phones purchased through Mint Mobile can be carrier and bootloader unlocked after 60 days but maybe someone with better sources than mine (or with first hand experience) can confirm?

I don't have the Pixel 11 so I can't say anything about it. However, I do have a Pixel 10 from a Mint Mobile deal and can confirm that bootloader can be unlocked once it's carrier unlocked.

NOPE! That's why I jump ship every 12 months. Basically going back and forth between them and Visible or Total. Still works out great for me. All major providers work fine in my area in South Florida. I get 12 months of service for $200-250/year. Been doing this for 10yrs. Only thing is you basically sacrifice the last 2 weeks of service to make sure you have a smooth transition without disruptions. Even less now with esim.
Why not Google Voice? Then you can be a Mint "new customer" every year (with a new Mint number) and always keep your GV number. Less hassle, no? No annual porting.

There are still services where google voice number does not work. I use Google Voice as the main number and it works almost everywhere. But still need a carrier number for at least few instances. There are still some inconveniences. You have to jump some hoops for calling through bluetooth in the car

Googlefi has better deal if you are buying pixel devices. You should calculate total price (phone + plan) for 2 years.

I grabbed this deal when it came out at the beginning of the month. After taxes etc it came out to $627 and I both love the phone and Mint. For those of you that are wondering how to qualify as a NEW customer if you're using Mint now, or it hasn't been 60 days yet, I can help with that.

I was an existing customer up to a month and a half prior, I let my service lapse to wait the 60 days to be considered a new customer so I could finally upgrade my 7 year old Moto G7, however this deal came out before I could be considered a new customer so here's how I got the deal:

1. I used a different browser, so there'd be no cookies giving me away.
2. I used a different email address and credit card.
3. I did not try to port my old number.
3. I used my name (same as old account) and address.

It worked, they considered me a new customer and I got this deal. I love my new Pixel 11 and their Unlimited Plan (I used to be on the 5gb plan).

As people have already explained, the phone is only locked to Mint for 60 days after activation, so after that you can go use it anywhere you want.

Hope this helps/
