Tht said, the product page mentions, 440, 440C, and "High Carbon 440 Stainless Steel". Without manufacturer confirmation, a user would need to perform a chemical analysis to determine the exact carbon content that determines whether a 440 stainless steel is 440A, 440B or 440C.
440A is typically the least expensive of the 440 series - and most likely used when there is no clear definition.
