I have the 4pc set of Quinn pliers, the linesman, Dykes, slip joint tongue-and-groove, and needle nose, and they are my favorite pliers. I prefer them to my Channellock and Craftsman for daily use in my shop.

Great product and this is a great price.

Harbor Freight offers the QUINN 9 in. Linesman Pliers for $6, a 49% savings, when you present coupon below.

Picked up in store Union, NJ. About 5 units left on the shelf..

Not marked with any special tag — you need to check the part number 64574 on the front right top of the packaging and of course, present the coupon. For net $6 bucks after coupon, this is a good value IMO. This coupon runs until November 4th. Limit 4.

Good weight to these pliers. Thanks for highlighting Op.

Protip: 'cherry pick' from what they have on the shelf if you're getting these - and really any pair of pliers @ Harbor Freight.

They need better quality control because most of these at my store had visible manufacturing defects - crappy looking plier jaws, inconsistent grind on the cutting portion, bad closure, etc. Even the one I got isn't 'perfect'; the pivot is kinda sticky. I hope they free up with some oil & break-in, because it's annoying having to force any pliers open.

It's not just Quinn, either. I've noticed that consistency can vary greatly, even with Icon pliers. Same goes for Doyle. I grabbed the Icon 9" wire strippers recently when they were on sale, and as I was looking through them I noticed at least 4 that I wouldn't consider buying - several with one side of the pliers not cut properly (so it was mostly flat), a couple more with crimpers that bottomed out before the pliers at the tip.

Had a similar experience with the first Icon pliers I bought - their long-nose slip joint everyone raves about... I wasn't paying attention when I got it and got a pair with slop in the hinge and jaws that didn't line up very well. Replacement pair is basically perfect.

Agree as I experienced the same when I grabbed a pair today. The machining varied greatly between what was there. Ended up finding a set with the most serrations and cleanest cutting blade I could.

I mean good deal but do we need a good deal on something so essential? I'm a Harbor Freight enthusiast. Full ICON service set. ITC, the works. But my US made Klein linesman was like $25 and I'm fully confident it will be around for my great grandchildren.

You could buy 4 pairs for that price and ide be willing to bet a $6 ($12 retail) is not going to be far off a brand name $25 pair. I'm ITC, HFT fan but also have plenty from Klein, Milwaukee, Wera, etc. Different manufacturers hit the sweet spot for different tools, linemans at 6 bucks is hard to beat with a lifetime warranty that you just walk into a store and exchange.

Handy for straightening small flanges without investing in flange pliers.
