On the other hand, the $30 is everyday price, on eBay, I've been getting this for years.
Community Reviews
This RedPocket eBay plan is mainly a low cost backup line with unlimited talk and text plus 200 megabytes of data each month. The current listing is for GSMA, which is AT and T only, and activation is supposed to be completed within 90 days of purchase. Photo, video, and audio messages can use data, while Wi Fi and RCS can keep them off cellular data. The main cautions are occasional activation hassles and awkward auto renewal handling, so it works best if you want a simple talk and text line and can manage setup carefully.
Common Questions (5)
Activate the code on RedPocket's website after buying it on eBay, and complete activation within 90 days of purchase. If activation stalls, customer service can help, and some activations may take over a day to finish.
Yes. The plan now includes unlimited talk and text, while the 200MB monthly data bucket remains for cellular data use. It previously had monthly talk/text allotments, so older deal details may be outdated.
iMessage and RCS can use the 200MB data if they are sending over cellular, while photo, video, and audio messages usually use data. When connected to Wi‑Fi, those messages should not use cellular data.
Yes. The listing shown from the eBay link is GSMA, which is AT&T service. One activation note is that converting an existing GSMT line may require help from online chat, which can handle it like a number transfer.
Yes, it can try to renew even when auto-renewal is not enabled. Using a virtual credit card and cancelling after the plan starts can help avoid unwanted charges, and the website can make cancellation annoying.

Well, perhaps it depends on one's area because I could of swore it said T-Mobile when I just activated one of their SIMs this past week on my old Android!

I also just learned Infimobile now has a $30 talk/text on Verizon network. Look at their Deal Buster plan. It is limited: 100min 100text and 500MB per month
photo/video/audio type texts usually use data. however when connected to wifi, they won't.
Anyone using this as a IOT backup access/terminal acess to home servers? If so, with what USB modem?
They used to be awesome, only to dwindle to the bottom of the barrel.
They now have poor incompetent agents, unable to fix issues, continuous problems that take forever to get figured out and fixed.
Hope US Mobile has another awesome BF/CM deal!!!
