Monster? Lol. I use it for small jobs when I don't want the noise and stink of my backpack blower. If you don't need it then that's great because you can save money but there's nothing particularly monster about this unless compared to electrics.

It does seem to be geared toward professionals, but they also announced a 4 Ah MAX. The new 6 Ah is supposed to be 4.8 lbs compared to the current version that weighs 6.4.

I've made a huge mistake by investing over two grand into the EGO system. Because there's a fatal flaw.

The batteries are programmed to discharge themselves from full to near empty if you haven't used them in 30 days. For a casual user it means a bunch of nearly dead batteries every time you try to use your equipment. I've never asked for this "feature" and would've never bought this garbage had I known!

I own several other power tool systems and none of them behave this way.

We have the 765 model and it is quite heavy in my opinion. This is heavier still by half a pound. Extremely powerful but make sure it's easy for you to handle
