EGO's 880 CFM blower stands out as a very powerful cordless option, especially for clearing leaves and garage debris while avoiding the noise and smell of gas. The two 4.0Ah batteries and charger add real value, and the bundle has been matched or beaten through Lowe's, Ace, and Walmart alternatives. It is heavy, and the lowest power setting can still feel too strong for delicate jobs. Battery storage and discharge behavior also come up as a concern for casual use, making this a better fit if you will use the batteries regularly.

The batteries are programmed to discharge themselves from full to near empty if you haven't used them in 30 days. For a casual user it means a bunch of nearly dead batteries every time you try to use your equipment. I've never asked for this "feature" and would've never bought this garbage had I known!
I own several other power tool systems and none of them behave this way.
