I believe gamestop has it for $35 as well and it includes the MTG card so can get some more value there.

What do you mean? Compared to the digital version? This is a game key card doesn't store the whole game, just a key that allows the game to play.

Both the keycard and the digital version require you to download the game onto your switch 2, which has 232gb of usable storage assuming no other downloaded games. You don't need to pay for additional sd card storage to download the game either way.

Assumption is you need a 1TB card in addition to the internal storage, currently $350+, to store your whole game library. 100GB+ is 1/10 of that number, which is easily $35 worth of storage.

Wow, Switch 2 only comes with 256gb?I will say it's sort of acceptable, the big bezel IPS display and only 256gb would be robbery but in today's RAMpocalypse market the fact that Switch 2 is still only $549 in the US is pretty reasonable.Still have to pay near or full MSRP for 5-7 year old games because they're on finally on a Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time lol (when many of the games have been on sale via Steam/PSN sale for $5-$15 for years now)

Just an fyi - this specific listing does not come with the card. Amazon has a separate listing that has the card but it's no longer available. GameStop still has it with the card, but look for stores that have 2 or more in stock, as 1 means it's a gutted open copy.

What's the concern with a gutted open copy? I didn't have any issues getting one at Gamestop with the promo card

Those assumptions are not a given. You don't NEED to spend any extra on a sd card to play this game. The switch 2 has more than enough internal storage to download and play this game straight out of the box.

Even if you wanted to get an sd card, you could get a 512gb card for under $100, and this game would only take up 20% of that card, which would cost $20.

But that is totally arbitrary since you could delete the game data after you finished playing, and then it would cost you $0.
