Paramount Plus Premium is the key to this 2 month, 99 cent offer, with the code working best on the Premium plan rather than Essential. The deal can also appear as a retention offer when canceling, and it has worked on reactivated or previously canceled accounts through a browser checkout flow. Premium includes downloads and no ads, which makes it useful for offline viewing and avoiding data use. Caveats are that current subscribers may not qualify, the app can interfere with checkout, and some playback now shows preview or pause ads.

Perfect! 3rd time in a row getting this deal right after I cancelled my subscription. There's a $20 cashback offer for Paramount Plus on Capital One Shopping, so hopefully this will qualify.

It's pause, the ad is not playing. I don't like the preview ad you have to watch in the beginning of a show, but most of my devices allow me to skip after a few seconds.
