RAM upgradeable?
via one of their Q&A:
"The HP OmniBook 3 14-inch (including the 14-hz0088dx variant) has a partially upgradable design where the SSD storage is replaceable, but the RAM memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded."

Consumer grade HP have the worst hinge design. The plastic often breaks apart especially as the lid hinges tighten over time.

Soldered on RAM is a deal breaker. I won't be surprised if this will end up going for half price on Black Friday.

This. My HP's display wiring pinched inside the hinge which caused the display to go blank at a certain angle. Disassembly to replace the wiring was a PITA. I wouldn't trust a $400 HP.

8GB soldered is rough. At least the Q and A quoted above says the SSD is replaceable, so storage can be upgraded later.
