Bought this a couple weeks ago on the same sale. It does charge via USBC though not on every cable I've used. Not sure what differentiates that but it does work. Great battery life, good screen quality, high brightness which is rare at this price and a non glossy screen. Only one RAM slot but it is supposed to be expandable and plenty fast for typical work and streaming stuff. Also the plastic build is actually nice as it keeps it light with a very good size. Overall this was a solid purchase for my needs

I currently have an ideapad 3i (13th gen core i3) which originally came with a barrel charger and would not charge via USB-C but few months later started doing that. Don't know if it was a charger issue or what but my current GaN charger does top up my PC.

No backlight keyboard killed the deal.
Plus 15.2" is very odd size.
3.5lbs bit heavier and upgrade RAM on only slot also very restrictive as you have to throw the good 16GB chip and buy expensive 32GB RAM to upgrade.
Will wait for better deal in Thanksgiving

Get a $10 adapter and your golden. After I bought this one, I saw they make ones with built-in LCD screens so you can see the real-time voltage and wattage your laptop is consuming, and they're so cheap I'll probably be buying it even though I already have one with no screen. Super happy I found these.

I would never buy a Lenovo again. They lose charge heavily even when completely shut down with always on USB/LAN turned off and fast startup turned off. Many of their laptop aren't even compatible with the usb-c pd chargers. I have Lenovo legion slim 7 gen 8 amd and it sucks charging and battery wise.
