Nice monitor, it's been going down to this price and back up several times over the last couple of months.

3440x1440 on 34 inches works out to about 110 PPI, the same sharpness as a 27-inch 1440p, just wider.

Sincere question, what is wrong with VA if I'm not using it for gaming? If this is just for a productivity monitor I don't really understand what would be the downside to it.

Narrow viewing angles, ghosting, slower response time and most of all, nothing about VA seems to be better anymore than the other options. That is why they are cheaper. In an age where we have OLED's coming down in price with so much competition, I think VA is just a waste of money overall.

It's like the crypto GPU crisis all over again. Everything peripheral items around the actual PC will drop in price because no one can afford the components involving memory. They'll still have monitors and keyboards etc that they still need to move. Great for people like me who already have a gaming pc, but I don't need anything.

Viewing angles? Its an ultra wide. You ain't viewing this from 178 deg....because its curved. Ghosting, slower response time? 165hz and 1 ms, do you even know what that means? "Other options" for a 34" curved ultra wide @ $250? Please do post that OLED....I'll buy you and I both one. Heck, even an IPS at this range is a unicorn.

LOL....
