This would work nicely for Hyundai vehicles such as Kona and Ioniq that have magnetic dashboard on the left hand side

I guess you could put it in a lot of nice places.
No! Just golf carts, Ned! $5.

there's a bunch of 1 star reviews saying that the base is plastic and it broke. They do say it was nice, but that it did not last long. I'd think paying a bit more for a metal base version might be a better option if you're going to be moving it around.

I mean how many people got on the site this morning to find a magnetic mount for their golf cart and cell phone.

I got 3 of these last time at $4 each. I don't golf, but there are plenty of metallic surfaces I use for these. Two are on metal shelving, and one on the fridge for when I cook. The phones have never fallen off so they work well for me.

Oh yeah.. This is exactly what i've been using in the Ioniq 5. It has the strength to hold up my iphone 17 pro. I installed a metal plate in my phone case to hold up the other side since i'm using a wallet case where the mag safe won't come into contact. I actually flip the magnetic so the magsafe is on the Ioniq dashboard side and the straight magnet is attached to my phone.

I can't vouch for this exact one but things like this are also great for places like the gym or holding your phone in the kitchen

I'll let you in on a secret. It actually sticks to any ferrous metal surface and nobody actually cares what you stick it to or what room you use it in. At work, in the garage, the gym, the kitchen, a boat... basically you can stick this just about anywhere you can enjoy green eggs and ham.

I've been looking for a magsafe puck to make a desk mount with. Cheapest I've found is $10, this is way cheaper and has another set of magnets I can reuse for a different project.

And TONS of people golf.

People may not come here to find golf mounts but you come here to whine 😂

Would work on a fridge or a gym machine too. $5 is hard to argue with.
