FYI, this is cheap likely because it's free to claim from Epic Games via Amazon Luna. Granted I'd pay the $1.50 for Steam.
Thank you for the heads-up. I prefer steam any day of the week, but at this point my library on Epic is almost in sync. Have had a Steam account since Half-Life 2 came out.
I played it recently and recommend it. It's half solving puzzles and half survival horror. The graphics, gameplay, and story are really good. It does a good job describing some of the horrors of World War 1.

You guys are ridiculous. Really that inconvenient for you to click the Epic icon instead of the Steam icon?
I'm not saying epic is better than steam in any way, because it's not.
But to say you would gladly pay for something vs getting it for free - just so you don't have to use a different app to launch the game - is disturbing behavior.

My problem with Epic is that anytime I remove my external SSD and accidently launch it, I've had to jump through SO MANY HOOPS to get games recognized on there again without redownloading the entire thing.
It's been years now since I've bothered because I gave it up with them, but that's the big kicker for me.
Steam used to have a similar issue but it was easy - click a few boxes and it's back. In recent year or two, steam even auto finds it when I ALREADY HAVE STEAM LAUNCHED.

Epic is about one third owned by a Chinese company Tencent. They're like Riot light

Absolutely agree. I feel so seen. That's the problem with Epic, ever getting anything to recognize that it ever existed before. Otherwise, it just wastes a whole hard drive of you trying to figure out how to individually change XML files for it to get re-recognized on your hard drive that just became unplugged, and now it's a problem. I only reinstall Control by default, anything else i just rotate one or two games then delete for space.
