Dang this thing looks sweet but there's a good crop of reviews about the PTFE coating chipping off the aluminum pot which is a shame. Better to stick with enameled cast iron or enameled stoneware like most crock pots have.

The coating is supposed to be PTFE free ceramic according to the product description.
