NOT the quik loc version so you can't swap ends. Looks like they are trying to clear out the old 5.0 battery kits for newer tech coming.

If I don't plan on swapping ends and just want the string trimmer is this a good deal?

Yes with the 2 batteries. Don't sleep on the quicklok one though if you have a yard. If you need it, the hedger for it is fantastic, especially if you have tall bushes. You can pick up the pole saw attachment which is really solid for around 150. You won't do a field with it, but the cultivator is great for gardens.

Not sure if there is a significant difference in the powerhead on these. Can't imagine that it matters much, but my quik-lok trimmer is one of my favorite yard tools. Only complaint is the head is crap. The ez-feed is one of the better ones i have come across, if that is your thing, but it breaks pretty easily, and doesn't play nice with a lot of strings, and the milwaukee strings suck unless you like spending money. You can swap it out for a better one relatively easily, or just replace it for like 20 bucks every other year when it starts acting up.

I agree about the head. It is terrible and the OEM replacement is way too expensive to justify Frown I bought the following on Amazon and they work perfectly with the Milwaukee https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FB9M6...in_title_1

I heard that the weight of the battery makes it very heavy and tiring to use as well as unbalanced. Buy an Echo SRM-225, that will last you a lifetime with proper care.
