Available today only via the T-Life app or through Costco app is the 11" 128GB Apple iPad (A16) for free with qualifying data plan through 36 months of bill credits. Costco sweetens the offer with a waived device connection charge (up to $35) and a $25 Costco shop card. The 25GB Data Tablet with Beyond Savings 2.0 Plan is $5 with Go5G Next, Better Value, or Experience Beyond accounts. Term is for 36 months so it will cost you $5x36= $180 for the term of the contract plus sales tax and fees. Upfront costs for me were $52.50 for the sales tax.

Costco instructions: visit https://www.costco.com/f/-/t-mobi...d-showcase and scroll down to "Get $25 when you purchase a new watch or tablet and activate a new line," it will then start a Costco/T-Mobile shopping session.

This iPad A16 promo is aimed at T Mobile customers on higher tier plans, with the advertised savings tied to a qualifying tablet line. The strongest appeal is the $16.67 monthly bill credit over 36 months, which can offset the device charge when the right plan is selected. The main catch is that the $5 tablet option appears inconsistent across accounts and checkout paths, while other tablet plans can trigger higher monthly charges or remove the discount entirely. It looks workable only if the account and plan match the promo exactly.

Be careful. For me, it let me choose the "25GB Tablet with Beyond Savings 2.0" plan, but at checkout charges me $30/mo. I assume this is because I'm on the "Advantage Unlimited" plan. VERY shady that they do that. Be aware.
They do offer me the $60 plan at $15/mo, that I am considering though. Not quite as slick of a deal though.

Ok so interesting. Via T-Mobile it only offers $25 monthly plan. Also it pops up a window basically saying the financing terms have changed so I have to make an upfront payment but my savings don't change. I believe this is because I have 4 iPhone 18 Pros on this account but is ridiculous because I have an 832 credit rating. Even then I don't see how the savings work when I look at the final breakdown.
TMO has it's own internal "credit" system for you. Whatever monetary value they decided you are worth for financing, you've likely already used up on your other 4 devices. You can talk to support and they can give you numbers, but you probably can't modify it without losing money. If you pay down financing on your other devices, the monthly "credits" you are getting to cancel out the monthly charges will vanish on the tail end. The monthly credits only appear if the monthly charges do. It's their nasty trick to keep you imprisoned for the 3 year term, or make you pay (give up credits) to get out early.

You selected the The 25GB Data Tablet with Beyond Savings 2.0 Plan? It's only $5 if you are on certain plans like the post says. The last screen shot says this too.
So your saying in order to qualify for the 5 dollar plan, you already have to be on one of their other plans. That aspect was confusing me. If that is the case you should put that in the first post in plain engrish.

Guys the OP is posting incorrect info. In order to get this promo of $16.67/mo discount for the iPad A16, you have to buy the iPad A16 and add the "Tablet Unlimited Plus 2.0 or above" plan, which is minimum $25/mo. If you try to add any other Tablet plan, the monthly discount of $16.67 goes away. OP is going to be charged much more per month than she thinks she is…

Don't waste any more of your time on this!

At least I only wasted my time reading all the comments and not signup and worse ripped off. Seems like all the easy SDs on phones and these are gone since the memory price increase days. That they changed from a few mo to a year to unlock only made things worse. I'm not even going to read these anymore I just buy unlocked on sale and be done with it. I got two moto Gplay as spares-travel phones as an example. Not screaming bargain but I'm not locked into a $$$ plan and item.
Just enter today's sweepstakes instead. You have a 1 in 14k chance at a tablet $0 /mo 😂

The $200 deal up until yesterday was better bc you could get the $5 25 gb plan for it. This is a horrible deal. Please do not go for it. If you want this, just buy it out straight from somewhere else on sale.
