this or kobalt $8 scissors? leaning to kobalt due $5 rewards credit but on other hand husky has wire strippers/crimper which i dont have yet. from my experience these multi function tools arent the greatest best to get the single dedicated tool for purpose. plus crimper/wire striper its probable best to get the pliers version cuz you'll need pull, grip, bent, twist,wires.... idk

I have the kobalt scissors and they are great at what they do as I use them to cut various materials. As you stated the multifunction tools aren't great at anything. I keep multifunction tools in my car.

I think the Kobalt will be more efficient in the end, it has more cutting area and maybe better blades. I'll carry another set of pliers instead of an all-in-one one.

I have the Kobalt scissors and they were quite good for cutting chicken wire, hardware cloth, and occasional wire weld fence. However, after a while until the nut loosened at the pivot point and has been very difficult to properly tighten. I will give it another go with some thread sealant before exploring replacement under the Kobalt guarantee.

I am curious what materials the Husky scissors excel with cutting. If reasonably heavy duty, they could be handy to have around.

I've never used a pair of heavy duty scissors that wasn't a pile of garbage.
