Serious question - does it work like a standard toaster when flipped to the vertical position?

Have the Costco model with the dial on the side and it won't turn on when flipped up. It's just to clear space when not in use. With that said, mine is never flipped up, but it's been my favorite oven so far. Super fast preheat and airfrys better than the bigger toaster/airfryer ovens since the top and bottom heating elements are closer to the food. Also no need to flip the food halfway thru cooking. Only downside is that you can't cook or warm up something that is kinda taller (like a whole costco chicken) since it's vertical space is narrower.
