I am not that experienced with computer assembly so I might come of as ignorant, but isn't that processor power way too low for a 2300 usd computer?

I think this a pretty good deal considering the prices I've been seeing, if only I had all the money right now. Don't think there will be anything better for black friday on a clean prebuilt that doesn't look all cyberpunk.

Isn't this one of Intel's top processors? I believe it is.

EDIT: It's insane how prices are going up. 7 months ago this model with a 5080 was cheaper: Microcenter Dell Alienware Aurora ACT1250 Gaming PC; Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 3.2GHz Processor; 2 TB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7; 32GB - $2,199.99 (in store only)

That processor is extremely powerful and one of Intel's current top of the line processors. I'd rather have the Ultra 7 270K Plus though which seems better in many regards. Also, the downside here in my opinion is Alienware's proprietary parts (motherboard, PSU, case, and cooling).

Yeah. I was going to say... I bought this exact machine, but instead with a Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF and RTX 12gb instead of 16gb, for 1400$ from dell outlet only a year ago. Nuts.
