When can we expect the price of such build to reach $1,300? This is maximum I'm willing to pay for such PC.

This particular build's GPU seems to average around $800-$900 alone. Add that with the deep costs of ram, it won't be anytime soon that it'll reach that price.

Probably never, unless it is this exact model 4 years from now. I don't think GPU, ram and ssd costs will come down until 2030. By that point people will be used to the prices, so I doubt they will come down unless demand totally dies.

Isn't this one of Intel's top processors? I believe it is.

EDIT: It's insane how prices are going up. 7 months ago this model with a 5080 was cheaper: Microcenter Dell Alienware Aurora ACT1250 Gaming PC; Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 3.2GHz Processor; 2 TB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7; 32GB - $2,199.99 (in store only)
don't worry AI is tanking , prices will be back to normal soon

It's sad that this wasn't even considered a good deal for a 5080 not that long ago.
That being said, you can save money by getting a 9070XT build that will perform better and won't have a terrible build experience
9070XT does not perform better than a 5080. And what is the "terrible build experience" supposed to mean?

$4200 msrp? For a 5070 ti?? Seems wildly inflated just glad I'm not in the market. Way things are going my 9800x3d custom build will be my last. One upon time in this country incomes would actually rise and the price of tech would go down. Now incomes are stagnate and tech is ever increasing. Soon it may be out of reach for a good portion.

I believe prices will never go down, only up. And the AI gurus do not want us to run AI on our personal computers, so that they have the monopoly and control of AI. So it's everybody's interest, except for individual consumers, that price continue to go up.

It didn't go up. Our money got diluted.

exactly more dollars chasing the same amount of goods. More dollars coming in all the time too. So many people think inflation is caused by "greedy companies".

True but you shouldn't be using a 5070 ti for 1080p

He would hate me then. I've had a minimum of 64GB on the desktop for over a decade (Ryzen 1700x). Far more in the VM boxes.
