Good price for a beautiful digital frame/crappy tv. Recommend you use an Apple TV, Roku etc with it to avoid the built in interface as much as possible.

I got the pro version of this TV. As said above it is great for digital art (which you have to pay a monthly fee for), but it is not a great TV. My main gripe is that it is edge lit and only from the bottom. There is a lot of variation of lighting throughout the TV, especially in the corners. The screen is matte, which is great for art, but makes TV look less sharp.
Also the mount for the TV is two small 4" squares, one for each of the top corners and there is no wiggle room for placement. This is less desirable than a single bar that goes across the middle because there is a really good chance that you will not have a stud in the correct location for the squares. You are left with either demoing your wall to put in additional studs/supports, or relying on toggle bolts to hold it up. A less than ideal solution.
Cable management for this tv is also terrible. Because it sits flush with the wall it has tiny groves in the back of the tv that you are suppose to put your cables in. Mostly this is just the power cable, but you may also need others, like me I needed another for the USB C, and HDMI for a gaming console (trying to avoid input lag from the wireless box). But because of how everything works you are trying to hang the tv at the same time trying to get the cables into the groves, it is a huge pain. I ended up cutting a strategically placed hole in my wall right where the cables were so I could run them behind the wall.

Yeah, don't buy Samsung for their OS. Low-quality TV, but these are great for the frame feature. I find random pics online that are 3840x2160 and add them onto it. Really fun to play with

We have one of these in a formal living room and it has been great for art and works well enough for TV watching as we don't do alot of that in that room. That said, I feel like the art subscription is starting to be a letdown and there is fewer content than there used to be a couple of years ago. I don't know if it is because Samsung is continuing to collect their $50 a year while reducing their licensing costs or what but I do know they removed "Ambient Mode" which provided some control over free art on a rotating basis. Now you kinda get what you get on a 5 minute rotating basis unless you proactively do your own. Here is what a Google search identified to work around this:

How to Bypass the Restrictions (For Free)

If you want to bypass the $4.99/month Art Store subscription and avoid the 5-minute rotation limit on the free stream, the best workaround is to upload your own public-domain art:
1. Find Art: Download high-resolution, masterwork digital art for free from public domain archives like The Met Open Access or the Art Institute of Chicago.
2. Crop It: Format the images to a 16:9 aspect ratio (ideally 3840 x 2160 pixels) so they fill the Frame's 4K screen perfectly without stretching. You can use mobile apps like Frame Crop to handle this automatically.
3. Upload: Use the free Samsung SmartThings app on your mobile device, navigate to your TV, select "Art Mode," and choose "Add Your Photos".

Anyone have experience with the Hisense version of these art-display TVs? I have seen them pop up for slightly cheaper.

FWIW - I got this TV but in a 2023 version a couple years ago through one of these EPP deals, and it already has issues with the edge lighting from the bottom (know it may not be "burn-in", but it looks similar when its on). Thinking maybe the Frame, while nice looking, isnt worth the money/hassle/whatever
