They had deals for Qdoba & other restaurants that aren't available everywhere. Not that big a deal

We have Qdoba here. But I'd rather them go with promotions that cover most of their customer's locations. Or offer localized promos in areas where the chain for that week isn't located.

Sure it's no big deal, no one's dying. But the point is corporate greed and that it doesn't have to be like this. "Hey, we offer lots of promos every Tuesday for our customers" which is true, except they're only usable by less than half of them.

The best thing to do is set a task on your phone. This last Friday there was a drop for a Frosty Frights figurine and up until the hour when it was dropped I had remembered. Then I started getting tons of work related calls and for that whole hour, it never crossed my mind that there was something I had to do. After I signed out for the day, I remembered the sweepstakes. The 4:00 p.m. triggered it. But I cannot recall a time when I ever forgot to do something using my cell phone's task scheduling. I use it for when I play an order for later on in that week.
