I got one of these a while ago. I thought I would use the laser feature more. I don't. Plus the actual tape portion is flimsey and bent pretty easily (not break, which is also horrible) but the tape has twist in it now. not sure why I keep it.... pass on this one ya'll

These are 2 useful tools, but I would not want these as a single tool

Amazon reviews verify the above comments. The narrow flimsy tape outweighs the imperial/metric double sided printing advantage which appeals to me.

Same here, used it for a while when it first came in but the novelty wore off due to the flimsy tape. I still reach for it because it sits with my other tape measurers when i need a quick distance gage at distances over 15ft. Its very accurate and has a simple laser function, press button to turn on, press it again to measure and it stores a couple of last read measurements on the screen. But i do wish it was quicker on set, read, reset. I have a dedicated laser distance reader but i forget it even exists because it does not have a clip so it's not organized with other tape measurers and it has so many functions it's a chore to get through menu settings. I would still get a 2 in 1, they do come in handy, i just wish this one had a better tape to get used more often.
